Terms of Service

Effective date: September 25, 2026

Provider: Millennial Apps, LLC, operating Scripture Typer ("the Service"), on the web at scripturetyper.com and in the Scripture Typer Mac app. Contact us through our contact form.

1. The service

Scripture Typer is a typing tutor for families: a serious touch-typing curriculum whose practice text is built on Scripture. It is sold to parents and guardians. By creating an account you confirm you are an adult creating it for your own household.

2. Accounts and household model

You (the parent) own the account and the household in it. Learner profiles you create for your children are yours to manage and delete. You are responsible for keeping your password and your household's parent PIN private. Children use the Service only through profiles inside your account. The same account works on the website and in the Mac app.

3. Plan and billing

The Family plan includes up to 12 learners and the full curriculum. It is an annual subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. The price is shown before you buy. Prices may change with advance notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

  • Bought on our website: billing is processed by Stripe. You can pause or cancel from the billing page.
  • Bought in the Mac app: billing is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase, under Apple's Media Services Terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel it in the App Store under your account's Subscriptions; we cannot cancel or refund it for you.

A subscription from either place unlocks the Family plan for your whole household, on the website and in the Mac app.

4. Cancelling, pausing, refunds

For a subscription bought on our website, the billing page lets you, at any time:

  • Pause — billing stops, your family's progress is kept, paid features pause until you resume.
  • Cancel — you keep full access through the period you already paid for, then access ends. Your progress remains saved.

Refunds for website purchases: where an offer includes a 30-day money-back guarantee (as described when you buy), ask through our contact form. Refunds for Mac app purchases are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). Statutory refund rights are unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

Don't break, probe, or overload the Service (rate limits are enforced); don't share invite links publicly (network invitations are for families you know — network creators approve every joining family and may revoke links); don't attempt to access another household's data; don't resell access.

6. Content and intellectual property

Our software, curriculum, lesson design, and branding belong to Millennial Apps, LLC. You may use them only as part of the Service.

Scripture texts. Practice texts are public-domain translations: the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), World English Bible (WEB), American Standard Version (ASV), and Bible in Basic English (BBE), plus the King James Version (KJV).

KJV — United Kingdom notice: the Authorized (King James) Version is in the public domain in the United States and most of the world. In the United Kingdom, rights in the Authorized Version are vested in the Crown and administered by the Crown's patentee (Cambridge University Press). Reproduction within the UK beyond permitted extents requires the patentee's permission. We acknowledge those rights.

7. Children

The Service is used by children only through a parent's account, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of profile information you enter about your children and for supervising their use.

8. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, or retire features. We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted service; offline practice features depend on your device and prior sync. The Mac app needs an internet connection to sign in and to sync progress.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Deleting your account and termination

You can delete your account at any time on the Account page, or from Delete Account… in the Mac app's Scripture Typer menu. Deleting cancels a subscription bought on our website; a subscription bought in the Mac app must be cancelled in the App Store. Deleting is permanent: your household, learners, and progress cannot be restored afterwards. Deleting does not by itself refund any payment. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted and kept.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate section 5, with notice where practicable.

11. Apple

If you use the Mac app, these terms are between you and Millennial Apps, LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms as they apply to the Mac app and may enforce them.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Millennial Apps, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes to these terms

We will post updates here and email account holders about material changes before they take effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
