Hello everyone! I recently passed the 100 scripture mark and I am amazed that I have been able to keep that many scriptures in my head. This scripture typer really is a remarkable aid.
If you haven't tried it yet, here is a bit about how it works. Each time you log in, choose review and review the verses that are due. Each time you learn a verse, you review it the next day. The frequency then goes to every 2 days, 4 days, 5 and 6 days, then weekly, every 2 weeks, 3 weeks, monthly, then every 2 months etc., up to a year. Today I reviewed the first scripture I learned, and had not reviewed it in 4 months. My fingers reminded my brain, and I did it!
The most amazing thing to me, and the reason I keep encouraging you each to try this program, is that as the scripture lodges itself in my memory, my understanding of the scripture deepens each time I review it!
Good luck!
Hello and welcome to our group - we have had several more members join us recently! I sure hope you all find this way of memorizing scripture as helpful and beneficial as I do! I try to log on at least 3 times a week to review the verses I've memorized and then to learn a new one. I joined this site several months ago a and now I have 76 scriptures committed to memory (along with the ones I've known all along). I love waking with a scripture in my head and finishing it from memory. God's blessings to you all - and happy weekend.
Hello all! We have had some new members join us this week! Welcome - I hope you all find the joy that I experience as I commit more scripture to memory. I find that the scriptures pop into my mind now, just when I need them most. What peace that brings!
Hi everyone! I just added S C H O O L - 6 scriptures to pray over your kids! to Ungers and co. These 6 verses are of prayers to pray for your children about Self control; Courage; Help from the Holy Spirit; Opportunities to do good; Overcome evil; Love God and others! I've only memorized four of them. As soon as I have them all in my head, I plan to add enough daily prayer walk to pray these while lifting up all our kids in prayer. Love you all.
I came across a post called "6 Verses to Pray over your Kids" and I added those verses to TRU Verses for anyone to memorize. One of them is a passage of 3 verses, and I split those into individual verses to help memorization. I plan to review these daily and pray them as I do so, thinking of all our kids.
Good afternoon everyone! I sure hope you are all enjoying Scripture Typer as much as I am! I try to do at least one verse every day, Monday thru Friday while I'm at my desk. I use my computer, since I prefer typing on my keyboard. Has anyone tried the app, and if so, do you like it?
We now have 7 people in our group. Please invite your friends to join us - the more we have, the more we can encourage each other to memorize scripture. If you have any questions (I sometimes have difficulty finding where to go to get the verse to memorize) just let me know and I will be glad to walk you through it.
Hello everyone! I'm so excited that we are getting a group together. I usually try to do a verse or two each week. So far this week, I've just reviewed the ones I memorized. I hope ya'll enjoy this as much as I do! If you have a favorite scripture, please share it with us so we can all memorize it. Thanks!
