The Word of God admonishes us to memorize it (Deut 4:6-9 & Col 3:16); Romans 12:2 tells us that the Word of God transforms our minds; Eph 6:10-20 tells us that we have been given the “sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God”; Romans 15:4 tells us that the Word of God gives Believers hope and encouragement; and Ps 119:11 tells us “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You”– there are many more verses that encourages Believers to know and live the Word of God! To that end, the Chapel is starting our Adult sWord Scripture Memory Initiative! Each week we will memorize a scripture passage (just like the children do)! Please join with us as we spend more time with our Lord!
