Good Morning Warriors!
Heb. 12:1-3 are precious verses to me;
"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumberance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
This text is rich with Truth but I want to encourage you today with the words that are in bold. We have an imperative...fixing your eyes on Jesus...this is an act you perform; and a purpose statement...so that you will not grow weary and lose heart...answers the question 'why?'
Have you so quickly grown weary? Have you lost heart? Is this too hard?
I have to admit, I was getting pretty weary of having to type it over and over again, every jot and tiddle, before I could move on. In order to memorize a passage, I don't need to worry about missing a comma or capital letter...UGH!
Well, guess what I discovered...LOL...you can change that!!!! What!? There's an easier way!!!? On the practice page, just above where the verse shows up as you type it is the little (but magical) word, 'typing'! Click on that and a whole new world opens up! Not really, but if you've been held back by typing speed or commas, it will sure seem like it!
So, get in there, push that button, change those settings and GET MEMORIZING!!! I want to see each of you on the Leaderboard this week!
L-E-T-S G-O LET'S GO, LET'S GO L-E-T-S G-O LET'S GO!!!!!!
Have a Blessed Week!!!
